Terms of Use

You may use Christian.com to discover organizations, request help, and manage a listing. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, and we may suspend accounts that break our rules.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Christian.com”, “we”, “us”), operator of the Christian.com platform, including the public directory, member accounts, organization dashboards, the AI Concierge, the service-request marketplace, events, jobs, resources, and Wave Professional Services intake.

By creating an account, submitting a listing, sending a service request, or otherwise using the platform, you accept these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, impersonate another person or organization, or are used to evade an earlier enforcement action.

3. What Christian.com is — and is not

Christian.com is a discovery and introduction platform. Organizations, professionals, churches, ministries, nonprofits, employers, and event organizers listed on the platform are independent third parties. We are not a party to any agreement, engagement, transaction, employment relationship, donation, or ministry relationship formed between users and those third parties.

Verification badges reflect a documented check completed on a specific date under our published Verification Standards. A badge is not an endorsement, a guarantee of quality, a warranty of workmanship, a statement of doctrinal agreement, or a substitute for your own due diligence. You remain responsible for evaluating any organization before engaging them.

4. Your content and the license you grant us

You retain ownership of the content you submit — listing text, images, logos, reviews, resources, event and job postings, and messages. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

You represent that you hold the rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights, violate any law, or breach our Community Standards.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract listings, member data, or contact information except as permitted by our robots configuration.
  • Submit false verification documents or misrepresent an organization's status, credentials, or affiliation.
  • Post reviews you are not eligible to write, or solicit, incentivize, or manipulate reviews.
  • Use the platform to send unsolicited commercial messages, solicit donations deceptively, or run fundraising schemes.
  • Attempt to defeat rate limits, authentication, authorization, or any other technical control.
  • Upload malware, attempt to access other users' data, or probe the platform for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure process.

6. Paid features

Memberships, featured placements, promoted events and jobs, verification fees, premium leads, and Wave consultation deposits are governed by the Marketplace Terms and the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated into these terms by reference.

Prices, quotas, and included features are configured in the platform and may change with notice. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card details.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove content, listings, badges, or accounts when we reasonably believe these terms, the Community Standards, or applicable law have been violated, or to protect users from harm. Where practical we give notice and an opportunity to appeal through our moderation process.

You may close your account at any time from account settings. Some records — transaction history, moderation records, and audit logs — are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the platform is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or [LIABILITY CAP AMOUNT].
