Our commitment
Christian.com is designed so that people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, and reduced-motion settings can find organizations, submit requests, and manage a listing.
What is implemented
- Semantic landmarks, a skip-to-content link, and a single descriptive heading structure per page.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, search, filters, dialogs, and drawers, with focus trapped inside modals and returned on close.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive control.
- Programmatically associated labels on form fields, with errors announced to assistive technology.
- Color contrast targets of at least 4.5:1 for body text, and status conveyed by text and icon rather than color alone.
- Respect for the operating-system reduced-motion preference.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful imagery and empty alt text on decorative imagery.
Known limitations
The interactive results map is a visual aid; every mapped result is also available in the list view, which is the accessible equivalent. Some third-party surfaces — the payment provider's checkout and embedded video from resource publishers — are outside our direct control. Documents uploaded by organizations may not be tagged for accessibility.
Conformance and feedback
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. A formal third-party audit has not yet been completed. [BUSINESS DECISION: schedule an independent audit and publish the resulting conformance report and date.]
If you encounter a barrier, contact [LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL] with the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within [ACCESSIBILITY RESPONSE DAYS] business days and will provide the information in an alternative format on request.
