Our expectations
Christian.com serves people of many traditions and backgrounds. Content should be truthful, respectful of others, and accurate about who you are and what you offer. Denominational and doctrinal differences are part of the network; contempt, harassment, and dehumanizing speech are not.
Not allowed
- Misrepresenting an organization, credential, affiliation, verification status, or endorsement.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeting individuals or groups for abuse.
- Sexual content, exploitation, or any content endangering a minor.
- Financial deception: fraudulent fundraising, deceptive donation appeals, pyramid or referral schemes, undisclosed paid endorsements.
- Spam, scraped or duplicated listings, keyword stuffing, and manipulation of search ranking.
- Fake, incentivized, retaliatory, or self-authored reviews.
- Doxxing, publishing private information, or sharing another person's records obtained through the platform.
- Partisan political campaigning, election advocacy, or candidate promotion in listings and resources.
Sensitive contexts
Counseling, pastoral care, recovery, adoption, benevolence, and youth programs involve vulnerable people. Listings in these areas must state credentials accurately, avoid guarantees of outcome, and follow applicable licensing and safeguarding law.
The AI Concierge is not a crisis service. When a conversation indicates risk of harm, it stops recommending providers and surfaces crisis resources instead.
Enforcement
Reports open a moderation case. A moderator reviews the evidence and may take no action, issue a warning, edit or remove content, remove a badge, suspend a listing temporarily, or suspend an account. Severity, prior history, and intent are considered. Every action is written to an immutable audit trail.
Appeals
One appeal may be filed per enforcement decision. A moderator who was not involved in the original decision reviews it, and the outcome and reasoning are recorded on the case. Report content through the Report Abuse form.
